Internship Program

The InFirst Federal Credit Union (InFirst) Internship Program is designed to offer hands-on, professional experience to students and recent graduates. Throughout the internship, interns will work closely with the Senior Executive Assistant and management to gain insights into the credit union’s processes, enhance our digital transformation, and contribute to innovative projects.

Internship Objectives

The primary objectives of this internship include:

  • Providing interns with exposure to the credit union industry and member service

  • Enhancing interns' understanding of industry best practices

  • Offering opportunities for interns to apply academic knowledge to real-world projects, particularly in areas like Marketing, Digital Transformation, and AI-based applications

  • Developing essential professional skills such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and project management

  • Creating networking opportunities with industry professionals, facilitating career advancement

I thoroughly enjoyed my internship at InFirst. I learned in great depth about the many benefits of credit unions compared to banks, as well as the importance of maintaining active and engaging social media pages to attract the new generation. I loved working with a diverse group across the state to compose a marketing plan. Our group created a comprehensive plan!
